North County Property Group Gives Back

The team at North County Property Group recently took a day away from work to volunteer its time for Habitat for Humanity San Diego. We took a pledge at the beginning of the year to commit to Habitat for Humanity as our company philanthropy as part of Corporate Responsibility program. The team spent the day painting, cutting fence boards, installing baseboards, and spackling nail holes at Habitat's most recent project in the Logan Heights. This project, scheduled for completion by the end of this month, will provide 11 affordable homes for purchase by qualified buyers. The community features drought-tolerant landscaping, use of sustainable building materials, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and energy-efficient Whirlpool appliances.

After a long day on the job site, some sore muscles, and blistered hands, the team all agreed it was a great experience to give back to our community and help us bond as a team toward a common good. As a leading Property Management Company in San Diego, it is important to us to support the housing market in positive ways.

Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for allowing us to work with you on this amazing project. Habitat San Diego has provided much housing to over 300 families in need in San Diego County. Our team has pledged to San Diego Habitat for Humanity to donate either one percent of quarterly revenues or $100 ($50 cash / $50 of company volunteer time) for every property we add to our property management portfolio, whichever is more. It is volunteers from our San Diego cummunities such as Mission Valley, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, Pacific Beach or whatever community in which you happen to reside.
