COVID-19 Updates and Information

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to have an impact on our stakeholders (tenants, rental applicants, property owners, and maintenance vendors) North County Property Group has never been more aware of our purpose and responsibilities related to property management.

Like most companies, we have temporarily switched to remote work but remain dedicated to performing our normal jobs, responsibilities, and daily tasks toward managing our properties.

The following general precautions have been implemented within our daily workflow:

1. We are working with our vendors to schedule necessary property maintenance as quickly as possible, using CDC guidelines to limit exposure to COVID-19.
2. We ask that requests for elective, nonessential, and optional maintenance be postponed at this time.
3. We continue to visit properties for showings and inspections as needed, again with CDC guidelines in mind.

As we get through this pandemic together, here are some resources which may be helpful to our NCPG stakeholders:

Virtual Tours of Property Listings: Narrated tour videos and 3D/360 degree digital tours to allow for viewing our property listings virtually.

California COVID-19 Website: State of California COVID-19 information website, including resources to find testing and vaccine locations, getting financial help, and getting the latest information for San Diego County restrictions.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Visit the CDC website to stay informed on preventing COVID-19.

2-1-1 San Diego: 24/7 hotline providing up-to-date COVID-19 information and resources.

Tenants with Financial Hardship Due to COVID-19: On January 28, 2021, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed new legislation (SB 91), extending protections under the COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act (AB 3088). If you have suffered financial hardship due to COVID-19 and are unable to pay rent for this reason, you may qualify for temporary rent forbearance and be protected from eviction.
